Key Responsibility

• Equipment installation and training
  • Work with new customers to prepare for installation.
    • Includes booth requirements, electrical, air and supplies required for their application.
  • Perform new equipment installation.
    • Customers must understand how to properly run and maintain high pressure equipment.
    • Train customers to properly apply all coatings per their specification and TDS’s
    • Supply customer with all documentation
  • Educate and train customers on surface preparation to insure coating performance.
    • Discuss best practice, common failures, and repair processes.

• Perform application demos.
  • Work with Sales and customer to ensure positive experience during trial.
  • Discuss chemistry characteristics and value of product over current application.

• Root cause analysis of coating failures.
  • Work with sales and customers to determine coating failures.
  • Offer recommendations and guidelines for application and substrate preparation to minimize concerns and insure best practice

• Customers support.
  • Support customers with on-site service and repairs
  • Provide annual visits.
  • Offer continual education on coating application and equipment maintenance.
  • Support customers by phone including UL technical call center

• Assist other internal companies and departments when requested.

Education

Minimum Required:

• SSPC, NACE, AAMP or PDA certifications

Preferred:

• College degree encouraged

Experience

Minimum Required:

• At least four (4) years of relevant work experience is required

Preferred:

• SSPC, NACE, PDA or AAMP qualifications

Job Specific Skills

Minimum Required:

• Detailed-oriented, well-organized, possess an attention to detail.
• Possess knowledge of PC work processing/spreadsheet software; including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Salesforce, and Smartsheet with the ability to learn new software and products.
• Knowledge of Graco plural component application, equipment, and general hydraulic and basic electronics functions of production equipment.
• Have an understanding of polyurea and polyurethane products.
• Works effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high level of quality.
• Multi-task and work in a changing environment.
• Work closely with fellow technicians to achieve a

common goal.
